 Atkinson’s well-rounded performances are a result of his eclectic writing styles, ranging from folk music story songs to country, pop, rhythm and blues, and jazz. While his smooth vocals and melodic guitar playing have helped him build a loyal fan base, it’s his lyrics that have won over most music lovers: “A hundred years later/ at least that’s how it felt/ he was living in the buckle/ of the great Bible Belt/ the torch that he carried/ still made his heart melt/ loves works in mysterious ways.”

  Combining a sense of humor with his knack for a good lyric and a Gypsy’s love of wandering, this Texas troubadour has played venues in Europe, the Caribbean, and clubs and coffee houses from coast to coast. He is also a regular performer at such well-known venues as the Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN.
